Alright, from the screenshot it seems that you’re using the “classic” WordPress Popular Posts widget and not the new WordPress Popular Posts block, correct? If so then yeah that’s a known issue. The classic WordPress Popular Posts widget isn’t really fully compatible with the new Widgets screen at the moment (and there’s a good chance that it’ll never be).
Right now your current options are:
Brillant Hector. The new Wpp-block works great and are just right for my page.
The widget title did not show so I added to the “Before popular posts”-text a bit of a workaround but it works!

This will be fixed with the next release so remember to remove the title from the “Before…” field once you update 😛
