    Hey Sebastien,

In the recent days I found out that on some posts the content-partial.php file does not load correctly and it shows all the contents of single.php file instead of content-partial’s -with all header/footer code-, and it stops loading completely after that.

It doesn’t do it on every post, only on some and I can’t figure out why. There is not any open div that would cause the problem, or any other problem from the html code that would cause it to load incorrectly.

Here’s a pic on how it loads on problematic posts (*):
    Problematic pic.

And here’s how it should load it (*):

    How it should be.

(*): Blur is intentional. I don’t want to showcase the site publicly.

If you want I can give you the URL (the site is in Greek, but you’ll understand the problem just by scrolling) through a private message or something to check it live.

Is your site using a ready-made WordPress theme or is it custom built?

    (@cre8gr)

It’s custom built, based on Metrostyle theme.

Using your tutorial on how to build the content-partial file helped me to support the theme and up untill now it worked fine. I don’t know why it started acting like that.

What was the last plugin you installed before it started to act this way?

    Thread Starter CRE8

    (@cre8gr)

Well the last two plugins I installed were Duplicator and Improved Include Page.

I disabled both and still the problem is present.

If you can allow me to examine the site I might be able to support you a bit more.

Thank you for your time so far. Except the url what else would you like me to give you so you can examine it better?

Also, as I don’t want to give the site publicly, it would be better to send it to you via email, along with everything else you need.

    Thanks again!

    Hey,

I just found out what is the problem. It’s an incompatibility with the Yoast plugin. When I disabled Yoast, posts that had the problem started to work just fine.

All articles have the same Yoast settings, I checked it thoroughly. Yoast version is the latest one (3.2.3).

I have Yoast installed from the moment the site went live without any problems. Maybe everything started going wild after the Yoast 3.2.3 update and Auto Load Next Post 1.4.7.

That is interesting. Do you have any clue as to what is changed in the source code of a single post when Yoast is active?

Also is it Yoast SEO or Yoast SEO Premium that you are using?

    Thread Starter CRE8

    (@cre8gr)

    It’s Yoast SEO, not Premium.

As for the source code I’ll look into it and I’ll tell you.

Thank you for clarifying that. I appreciate any examples you can share so that I can address this in a future update.
