Strange behaviour with Plugin and Multisite

    Hello,

    since some weeks I have a strange behaviour with this Plugin and my Multisite

    – If I choose “Registered users only” in the option “Allow to rate”,
    visitors cannot see any star ratings in the frontend but admins can see them

    – If I choose “Guests only”, visitors can see the ratings in the frontend but admins don’t

    – If I switch to “Guests only” and rate one post as a guest and then switch back to “Registered users only”, everyone can see this post rating

    I used the Plugin since a few years in the Multisite and also with Cachify (but I deactivated Cachify and it’s the same error) but this problem appears a few weeks ago. Unfortately I don’t know exactly when this error appeared. I use the latest version Version 1.83.2

    1. Are you using any caching plugin?
    2. Does it work on the default theme without any other plugins activated in the first place?

    1. I deactivated cachify for this site
    2. I also tried it with the Standard Theme Twenty Twelve

    you deactivate but is your wp-config.php set WP_CACHE to false? In any case, this plugin will not work well with caching plugin.

    Ok, I add define(‘WP_CACHE’, false); in my wp-config but nothing happens.
    But in any case, the Plugin works with Cachify for a while. The error occured suddenly

    Hmm Can’t be suddenly. This plugin has not been touched for the past 6 weeks. So probably and update to something on your site broke it?

    My guess is that your site is still serving the cache content and that explains the inconsistent behavior.
