    Hi, i have been cleaning out a few websites on the same server that have been infected with malware.

    After replacing the core files i came across these strange characters in /wflogs/attack-data.php?

    <?php exit(‘Access denied’); __halt_compiler(); ?>
    wfWAF除

    I tried searching but found nothing, is this normal?

    Cheers

  • Hi @mrthow,

    The attack data stored in /wflogs/attack-data.php is encoded in a different format. It is completely normal to see strange characters. This is similar to opening a .docx in a raw text editor.
