@amreshkramar Could you please provide details steps on how to replicate the issue? Were you logged-in as those admin users when adding their time-based one-time passwords?

    Hi,

Last year in December I had installed this plugin and setup it successfully for Administrator account…..Later due to some reason I had to remove this plugin……

Last week……to strengthen my website login…….I first tested it on a dummy website…. I made my plain for this plugin…….if OPTION 1 fails then this is the solution, if OPTION 2 fails → this is the solution…………tested all solutions……….when I was fully sure that I have multiple solutions ready to use in the event of login failure due to this Two-Factor plugin……..I install it and try to first active for administrator account……….I wanted to use Google Authenticator as primary method……When I entered the generated 6-Digit code in submit box……..There was error → Invalid Code ……………….Tried again……no success……….Then I did for a contributor account…………it worked………Setup successfully ……………So I thought maybe I need a new Administrator account to get this Two-Factor plugin working for administrator account……….Created new administrator account………..Two-Factor disabled………….Open the new administrator Account profile……..Tried to setup Google Authenticator as primary………..Again same issue……….Invalid Code.

Does that happen when you register a new device for the time-based passwords by scanning the QR code? Were you logged-in as those admin users when adding their time-based one-time passwords?

Yes….Yes, I had also tried with Google Authenticator in my 1-Month old smartphone

Could it be related to browser caching?

This could happen if the current time on the server is wrong. Could you please check that?

I can’t replicate this issue on my personal site.

Sir, you were right. Recently I had to reboot my VPS server to implement the new changes. After that I tried to set up this plugin. It worked. Thank you so much for this masterpiece plugin.
