Strange link URL

    I have the plugin activated only on the primary site and have it configured to pull authors from just the 8 sub-sites. For some reason, the hyperlink on all of the author’s names is to one of the sub-sites. If I take that sub-site out of the plugin configuration, the hyperlinks changes to a different sub-site.

    This started after the site was hacked, but I can’t figure out what is causing this.

    Hi

    I am not sure it was because the site was hacked more likely do a change in core that I have caught as you probably upgrade your WordPress install as part of the clean up.

    What it looks like is happen is that current site is getting swapped when we get the last post and that now is changing the author site as well. I see that the link is broken

    Do you have the author URL set in there profiles? Try setting that and selecting author link. as a work around

    Can you please confirm the version of WP you have installed

    and what shortcode / widget setting you have used

    I will try to look at this and work

    Recently updated to 4.8.2. I am not sure if this problem existed before that update.
