Strange MySQL error

    Hello,

    I just found this in my Apache log:

    [Sun Apr 27 19:04:43 2014] [error] [client 180.XXX.XXX.XXX] PHP Warning: mysql_real_escape_string(): A link to the server could not be established in /var/www/wp-content/plugins/permalink-finder/includes/pf-404.php on line 668

    This is fixed in the version I am testing on http://www.blogseye.com. You can go there and download it from the beta test programs.

    I probably will not be supporting my plugins going forward.

    WordPress has a function that is a good replacement. I am replacing it whenever I see this error in a plugin.
