Stream List Not Updating
-
In the past few weeks, the stream badger has not been updating properly. I have a rather long list of streamers now since my site has become very popular. http://www.LeagueOfLegendsChicago.com is the page. I am not aware of any caching programs, but I can’t say I 100% know what those would be. Any help is appreciated.

Hoping for a response. The plugin not working has caused big issues with my site traffic. Any speedy response is appreciated.
I’ve spoken with a few people that are using the plugin that are having the same issue.
Steps to reproduce the issue, and expected/actual results.
http://www.LeagueOfLegendsChicago.com and http://www.midwest-gaming.net/ both stopped working. Go and reference the site’s streamlists being 100% offline. Can you reproduce the same issue on a fresh WordPress install (default theme, no plugins except this one)? Yes/No
I have not tested this, but I didn’t change anything drastically, it just stopped all of a sudden.Your configuration information: WP version, plugin version, PHP version

Regarding the second point, is it possible for you to do a secondary fresh install of WP on your current hosting provider? That would really help a lot.Just checked http://www.midwest-gaming.net/, but all streams in the list are in fact Offline on Twitch.
I understand that but I do interact with their webmaster (he is Gideon in other threads). Even when they are online they appear offline.
I am installing a clean wordpress in another directory and testing it out.
On a fresh install, it appears to work; however, I also have been able to get it to work when making various new menus. After a while it stops working though.
I have written a small diagnostics module that will help me to setup the same environment as yours. Hopefully you can help me:
- Install latest dev version from github: https://github.com/tkrivickas/live-stream-badger/archive/master.zip
- Go to Settings > Live Stream Badger
- Under Diagnostics, copy all output, share it as gist, and give me a link
Thanks.
Wow, that’s a big stream list :). Anyway, I’ll setup environment same as yours (and the other guy’s) – should get back to you this week.
Sorry for the inconvenience!
Thanks. Yup, initially I thought it was due to the size, which is why I tried splitting it into 2 lists. It actually solved the issue for a day or two. I don’t know if that is relevant, but it seems like after a set period of time it just stops working and overall caches out as offline.
The initial result was servers saying they were online with 0 users.
Was unable to test with that stream list, because none of them appeared to be online at the given moment (I tried to add some popular streams, and it worked).
Added some cache cleanup routines. Can you try today’s dev version and see if the issue persists?
Will do.
I added someone I know is online right now and it isn’t showing up.
http://www.twitch.tv/krllnopause/ who is “SAGA AP CHO” on the list.
