Hi, as you can see on the page, the images are an incorrect width (I thiink, rather than height). This is not an issue for the tablet or mobile sized images, which keep to their fixed aspect ratio, but I can’t seem to figure out where the CSS is telling the PC one to change aspect. It looks like the width can change – you can see this if you alter the widfth of the browser window. Can anyone offer any advice, please?

  • Hi @davidc1970

Thank you very much for contacting us and hope you doing well.

Kindly go into the image hover shortcode editing page and customize the image height width from there.

there have several options such as pixel, percentage or em select any one and set as like as you want. for example, if you set the image width to 300px and height to 100% so it will automatically resize based on the website width.

you can set them manually. One more thing, check there have small settings icons beside the height text. once you clicked it you will get three icons 1st one for desktop then the tab then mobile.

So after clicking anyone, you can customize each browser such as mobile or tabs separately with desktop settings.

Hope you will like our settings formula and customize it smoothly as you want.

    Hi @biplob018,

Thank you for your response, but I tried that before and it doesn’t work.

The original images are 500px high and 400px wide. Using any value for width and 100% height, the aspect ratio is not preserved and the images are reduced in height (squashed top and bottom), although they are now truly responsive and keep their (wrong) aspect ratio.

Interestingly, if I use 350px wide and 120% height, it looks like the problem is largely resolved, but the images still don’t behave truly responsively as they do when I follow your suggestion – which I cannot do due to the aspect ratio being broken.

Any other thoughts, please? Other than this issue (which may not be the fault of the plugin!), it’s a brilliant asset for us!

    Hi @davidc1970

we checked it closely and it’s working as you set. wide 350px means if there have enough space such as 350px its works like 350px.

perhaps if it’s smaller than 350px image will resize as it’s gotten spaced. Will you please share some images so we can check them deeply?

    hi @davidc1970
