Update: I tried to use a discount code, when I applied the code the card details, that I told you were missing, popped up. Hope this can help solve the problem
Hi @victah,
“First of all I don’t get if the free version of the plug in is enough to enable stripe payments.”
-> The free version of PMS, does include Stripe as a payment gateway. You can read more about this here.
Regarding the issue:
- Could you please provide the URL of the page where you have the PMS Registration form (where you have this issue)?
- Could you please go to your site’s Dashboard -> Plugins -> Installed Plugins -> and send a full screenshot with everything you have installed related to Paid Member Subscriptions (make sure the plugin version can be seen)?
- Could you please go to your site’s Dashboard -> Paid Member Subscriptions -> Subscription Plans -> click on the subscription plan you have this issue with -> and send a full screenshot from here (please make sure all the settings from that page can be seen)?
- Could you please go to your site’s Dashboard -> Paid Member Subscriptions -> Discount Codes -> click on the discount code you have this issue with -> and send a full screenshot from here (please make sure all the settings from that page can be seen)?
You can use a site like https://snipboard.io/ to share the screenshots.
Best regards,
I also have a question about the Stripe payment function. I am testing the free version of Paid Member Subscriptions and I created a test subscription package, put the plugin in test mode (connected to Stripe in test mode), and a test user to buy that package. In the Paid Member Subscriptions -> Payments section in the wordpress dashboard, it shows a transaction ID. When I click on it, it takes me to Stripe. I log in. It is in test mode, but it says “sorry, something has gone wrong” and doesn’t display the test purchases.
Is this something on Stripe’s end or because Paid Member Subscriptions is in test mode?
Hi @stephunique,
I tested this while PMS was in Tested Mode and when I clicked on that Transaction ID, I was able to correctly see that payment in Stripe.
Please make sure you’re connected to the same Stripe account that was used to make the connection with PMS, and also when you connect to your Stripe account, on the top left corner of the page, make sure that you select the Stripe Account that was used to make the connection in Test Mode.
