Hi, I integrated stripe and even though the language I use is Catalan (and works just fine with the normal forms), the stripe message to complete the payment is in Spanish. I tried to look for that sentence in the message tab but it is not there.

Is it possible to change that message?

    Thanks!

the stripe message to complete the payment

Which message do you mean by this?

The message is in Spanish and says: “El pago es obligatorio. Por favor, paga con tarjeta de crédito.”

which means: “Payment is mandatory. Please pay by credit card.”

Also, the inputs to fill the card details are in English. The rest is fine.

    Thanks!

Where can we see the website in question?

    Link

Just click in “Veure preus aproximats”. This will open a Modal. Then fill the mandatory fields and click in the button “Pagar 20€ i demanar pressupost”. Once you do that, you will see the message in Spanish “El pago es obligatorio. Por favor, paga con tarjeta de crédito.”

Is this the form having the issue?

If so, messages are displayed in Spanish because the locale of the contact form is es-ES (Spanish). If you create a contact form in Catalan you can get Catalan messages.

See Contact form in your language for details.

That is not correct. The language of my site is Catalan. I just checked it again. And the most important. It is only that message (plus bank inputs) the only one that appears in Spanish. All the others are in Catalan.

Also, in the “messages” tab, the sentences are all in Catalan, so I didn’t even need to translate anything…

EDIT: I actually see in the Inspect Element that it is labeled as es-ES, but that shouldn’t be that way. The preset language is Catalan and in the form tabs, everything is in Catalan.

What happens is that the form was created 3 years ago when the default language was Spanish, but it was change soon afterwards to Catalan.

Do I have to create a new form to have it in Catalan? Isn’t the form changing the language by itself? Can I duplicate it?

    Hi again

I created a new form and now the message is in Catalan, but the payment inputs from the stripe integration are in English (“card number”).

Is there a way to be able to change that?

Why don’t you ask Stripe if they support Catalan UI?
