    Hello,
Using the Give WP Version 3.12.0 whenever a donor selects Stripe Payment – Google Pay option and tries to Donate the process ends with the following error: “The following error occurred when submitting the form:

    • Unexpected token ‘<‘, “<!DOCTYPE “… is not valid JSON”

However in Stripe the transaction is visible with Status = Incomplete and the the error message “The customer has not entered their payment method.” and in the Stripe Event & Logs it’s specified “PaymentIntent status: requires_payment_method” The PaymentIntent requires a payment method. Set an existing payment method on the PaymentIntent or have the customer enter a new payment method.

On top of this, the dashboard statistics show the amount has been raised, even if the transaction has not been completed. In my Donor dashboard I can also see that the donation counts as a valid transaction but this is not right.
Did anybody else experienced this issue as it seems it’s a bug withing the plugin and found it by runing some manual tests. I really apreciate any help on how to fix this, thank you.

    Hi, @tfk1982.

I accessed your site today and noticed that you used Stripe Checkout as your payment gateway option, so you likely circumvented the issue you were facing.

I apologize for my slow turnaround on this one. If you need further help, let me know.

Thanks for using GiveWP! Have a great day.
