Structured data in Blog Posts – WordPress (?) XML

This is an idea that’s been around for long enough, but is still rather vague and a long-term prospect for WordPress and all other blogging platforms…

RSS is XML that structures post information: date, author, permalink etc – what are the pros and cons of doing the same within the post HTML – images, media files etc so that these could be accessed directly, whether via RSS or not – there’s more here
