2. https://developers.google.com/structured-data/testing-tool?url=https%253A%252F%252Flesterchan.net%252Fwordpress_dev%252F2016%252F02%252F04%252Ftest-ratings-3%252F works as well (ignore the errors) because I don’t have site image and featured image on that post.
I would suggest u deactivate all other plugins and switched to twentysixteen to see if it works in the first place.

By changing to the twentysix template, nothing had changed…

Did you upload the files properly? All the CSS and JS are missing.

1. Delete the contents on your server in /wp-content/plugins/wp-postratings/
2. Download https://github.com/lesterchan/wp-postratings/archive/master.zip
3. Extract the zip file and it will extract to a folder called wp-postratings-master if you are using mac.
4. Upload the contents of the folder to /wp-content/plugins/wp-postratings/
