• Hey everyone,

I’m about to start an extensive blog on popular tv shows with WordPress. I won’t bore you with the details but suffice to say that will be maintained by several people and span over 20 popular tv shows. Almost everything is set, but there’s one big problem that remains the structuring. I was hoping someone could give me some advice.

I’ve boiled it down to 2 options:
    1) Make it 1 large blog (our original intention) with all the posts concerning the different shows going there before being archived in their respective directories

    2) Make 1 central blog with important news, the latest ratings and general posts. From there link to the other shows, all of which would be seperate blogs

I can think of many advantages and disadvantages to both, but instead of padding this post to infinity, I was wondering if you could help me with your educated opinions 🙂

    Many thanks!
    Julian

Hmmm. Nothing is archived in “directories”. Everything is stored in the database. Maybe the first task would be to understand how WP works…

From maintenance point of view: administering one blog is always easier than 20. Every show should have it’s own category.
What to display on the main (aka index) page – is a matter of design, plugins and decision.
