I have 4 websites I manage, and the most recent update asked for a database migration.

It’s been stuck in that migration on all 4 sites for hours now.
I have the “WP Statistics: Process Running
Database Migration is running in the background (28,912 records remaining).” and nothing appears to be happening.

any idea what the issue is?

I realize that one has a lot of records, but other sites have far less.

    Hi @tonyrhnewtons,

    Apologies for the delayed response.

Could you please confirm whether the migration process has been completed for your site?

Please note that the migration time may vary depending on the number of records that need to be processed.

    Hi Matthew

Still stuck in Database Migration on all 4 sites

Ran the WooCommerce update, and that had a database update, and it completed.

Between the 4 sites, the lowest has 522 records, the highest has 28,912 records.

    Dear @tonyrhnewtons,

We are sorry for any inconvenience caused by this issue.

Rest assured, we are working on a solution and are aiming to have it resolved as soon as possible.

I will get back to you as soon as we have an update.

I do not have WP-CLI through my hosting provider

Can I use WP-Console plugin to run the command?
    https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/wp-console/

    Hey @tonyrhnewtons,

It looks like the WP Console plugin isn’t able to run any WP-CLI commands.

Given that, I’d recommend using the WP Crontrol plugin to manually run the cron jobs instead.

Below is a list of our migration-related cron job hook names. You can search for them in WP Crontrol and run them.

    • wp_statistics_schema_migration_process
    • wp_statistics_data_migration_process

Let me know how it goes.

it did not clear the message on the second site

    Dear @tonyrhnewtons,

We’ve just released version 14.13.2, which includes a new migrator feature.

Kindly update the plugin at your earliest convenience and run the migration. You’ll see a migration notice appear once the plugin has been updated (if the migration process has not been already completed).

    Looking forward to your feedback.
