Stuck in restore

    In different projects when I try to restore a Backup for the second or third time it gets stuck in the load. The method for Backups (FTP) works but shows the Theme without my settings, just as the template was installed.

    I have been having problems with the Plugin for 3 days. How can i fix this?

    What is the theme that you are using – is it free or commercial one?
    Sometimes commercial themes need to be re-activated on import.

    Is free, but the same error happens with Pay Themes. What you say is that activate the theme after the restore?

    Stuck on restore happens for a number of reasons and different plugin versions are not the cause – we make sure that the plugin is backward and forward compatible so backups always work.
    Here is a list of what I recommend you to try with the sites where you get stuck on resolve:
    1. Increase max_execution_time – this is the top reason. Here is an article that describes how to do this http://www.clickonf5.org/11921/solution-for-wordpress-php-error-maximum-execution-time-of-30-seconds-exceeded/

    2. There is a plugin or theme that are not compatible with the new php environment. It happens when the PHP versions are different (export from php 5.6, import on php 7.1) – this needs to be debugged but enabling WP_DEBUG in wp-config.php and looking at your site to find errors.
