Stuck loading when submitting form

    So the issue I’m having is that out of no where the contact form has stopped being able to submit, all anyone gets is the loading wheel and it just spins forever. I have tried making changes to the .php, deactivated and reactivated the plugin, and tried seeing if it was being affected by another plugin and I have had no luck. What else should I try to resolve this issue?

    FAQ > The spinning arrow icon shows up once I submit a form, but then nothing happens.

    I am having this same issue on one of my sites. I have been using this plugin without issues and then with the latest update am getting this spinning wheel. I also tried deactivating plugins + theme, that did not fix it. The form is still working — the submission goes through and I receive the email but the user thinks it doesn’t because they just get the spinning arrows. Any suggestions beyond the FAQ?

    My problem stemmed from the SMTP plugin I was using. The problem lied in that no emails were being sent out through WordPress at all. After adding some extra code to the SMTP email plugin I was able to get it working.
