Hi Adam,
What version are you running?
Try opening your web browser’s developer console (usually Ctrl-Shift-J) and seeing if any messages are logged there.
David
I’m using version 1.8.2
I’ve opened the console and I do see this…
“Error caught by UpdraftPlus ajaxError handler (follows)”
Then it keeps trying to access..
admin-ajax.php
Check the PHP and Apache logs on the server side… something is very likely logged there at the time when the request fails.
This is a video of what happens…

Where do i find those logs?
You’ll need to ask whoever operates the server that question – it varies from server to server.
Thanks for your help. I’ll see what I can find.
Adam
When Ever I Try To Back_Up I See This Warning ..!
Warning: The amount of time allowed for WordPress plugins to run is very low (10 seconds) – you should increase it to avoid backup failures due to time-outs (consult your web hosting company for more help – it is the max_execution_time PHP setting; the recommmended value is 90 seconds or more)
