Hi Elsa
I found your support account and took a look at your issues – I found 1 about amazon (the free gateway) and one about PayPal IPN. It seems after the last reply from a member of staff (05 Jan) there were no more responses from you as seen here: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/s/ztu5cauth1yqwld/2015-04-24%20at%2009.44%202x.png?dl=0
Typically with an issue like the PayPal one you described in our support area and also here it’s caused by a conflict. If things are well, you should be able to navigate to your site’s http://example.com/?wc-api=WC_Gateway_Paypal page and see the following notice:
PayPal IPN Request Failure
If the URL changes (like removing the ? symbol) or if the page redirects to a version without the slash for example, the IPN will encounter the same issue and continue to send requests repeatably (since they assume you are not getting the response).
If the issue does get fixed, you may still get a few stray emails from PayPal since it continues to try pinging the URL it was given during time of transaction. If this was wrong, that would explain it. Enabling logs and ensuring logs are writeable can be a good way to find issues like this one. I do believe there were some issues in core with live paypal debug logging however which we’ve resolved in core updates.
Anyway, I’m not sure if you received the reply from Thomas or not, but its there (spam maybe?) so although I can understand your frustration, your comments maybe a little unjust.
Thanks!
