Hello @shiftsrl,
You can override any of the default Tutor templates from your child theme or use shortcode from a page builder like Elementor to create your own custom registration form. Following doc has more detailed instructions. Remember to assign your newly created custom form to Tutor settings > students tab. You can also use a GDPR plugin to see if that solves your GDPR requirement.
Thanks Munyam but this is exactly what I’ve done. I’ve renamed the page, added the shortcode and some other text but the problem is that if I look at that page I see only the form and not my text. I know that’s absurd but this is exaclty what’s happening.
This is my page in backend
https://pasteboard.co/JB3en4f.png
and this is what I see in frontend
https://pasteboard.co/JB3eIMV.png
and you can see that the top string of text doesn’t show up. I’m using Astra theme.
I’ve also tried to create another page, put in some text and the shortcode but only the form is displayed so it’s someting related to the plugin.
Munyam I’ve done a test with very strange results.
I’ve created a new page
https://www.tuttosullapostaelettronica.it/corsi/test/
without putting in the page the shortcode. In the settings I’ve told Tutor that this page is the student registration and the result, as you can see, is that the form does appear in that page also without putting the shortcode!!!
What’s happening? If you give me an email I can send you the credentials to look.
Btw I’ve changed the domain so that the pages now are on
https://www.andreamarucci.it/corsi/test/
same behaviour as before unfortunately.
Hello @shiftsrl,
May be you are doing it incorrectly. Try changing your theme template from your default one to the page builder’s template under the documents > post/page attribute.
I have the same problem with the student registration page. Made a new page, and like said previously, it only displays the form and nothing else.
I suppose, replies have been deleted in this thread. What has happened? Is there a solution to this rather serious issue? If not, are you planning to do something about it?
I am just trying out your plugin, and I hope there is a solution.
Also, I don’t see why it is marked resolved. What is the resolution?
Hello @fcsab
The best way to setup the sites registration is either by using the default option or by using the theme-my-login plugin. For solving your sites issue we will need to investigate for other problems. There is a guideline which you can follow https://docs.themeum.com/tutor-lms/troubleshooting/general/ i would still suggest you to email us at [email protected]
best regards
