Very new so please be gentle…
Installed 3 themes (i imagine they work since other people have them)

Always get the message that “Stylesheet is missing.” However, I’m looking at the directory, and I can plainly see the style sheets…

    Any ideas?

More details would help us to help you…
Which themes? Link to your blog? Your WP version? etc.

1.5 I believe (how can I tell?- My isp just said they installed “the latest”).

    The theme is Wuhan

    The blog is http://www.sadrhino.net

    Yes, it’s 1.5.
So, you have installed them in their own directories under the “themes” directory and they show up in the Presentation section of the admin panel but with the above quoted error message?

There has been a similar thread with some suggestions what to check.

I think I got it… When I unzipped it and uploaded it, I somehow added an extra folder so the directory structure was like

    nameoftheme/nameoftheme/nameoftheme

    Thanks for the help anyway!!!!

    aha… it should be
    wp-content/themes/nameoftheme

Yup – theme files have to be inside a “top-level” named folder inside the themes folder….

Well! I had the same problem, and same fix. So from one n00b to another, merci! But really, we should WinZip, right?
