    I put wordpress down for about 8 years, such a learning curve – especially since I like to make changes. Uggg.

    I installed the additional plugin to modify colors but I’m afraid to do anything cause I am using a dark background on my child theme. I’d prefer to use my themes color scheme but it doesn’t look promising.

    I don’t want to make changes since it will change the colors when I use Ultimate Member forms, I assume.

    I love the idea of using the Member aspects but I’m getting frustrated. Am I reading too much into this? I don’t know php except for function.php and style.css. I don’t know the j scripts either, nor can I read the styles after all are brought together on the option.

    I don’t think there is anyway to view the page when I insert the shortcode cause it doesn’t display in the admin area when editing the page. I try another browser and I guess I have to cut and paste into each pages css, like this:

    div.um .um-field-label, div.um .um-field-label:hover .um-tip i {

    1. color: var(–color-field-label, #555);

    }

    Isn’t there an easy way. Weeks at this and I am ready to give up.

    Otherwise, the plugin looked promising. I’m guessing wordpress is just gone way over my head and its time to look for something else.

    Thank you.
