    Hi,

This is a great plugin for connecting Stripe with WordPress, however I’ve noticed 2 things that are stopping me from purchasing the PRO version and they are.

    1) The colour of the buttons can’t be changed with CSS. I noticed that this is true even after disabling the plugins CSS style sheet from WP Dashboard > Simple Pay Lite > Default Settings.

Being able to change the colour of the button seems a bit of a basic thing to be missing, are there any plans to enable this option soon/at all?

    2) The ‘Powered by Stripe’ logo on the overlay can’t be removed with CSS either. This I understand a little more than the ability to change the button colour but unless this is legally required there should be some way to remove it without modifying the plugins code directly.

Please let me know what I can do about these issues.

    Thanks!

    Best Regards,
    AFX

  • Hi @argentumfx,

    1) This is because the Lite version inherits all styles from Stripe a certain way. However, we do have the option to disable the payment button styles coming from Stripe in the Pro version.

    2) I don’t think there’s any way to remove the “Powered by Stripe” logo on the Stripe Checkout overlay, and I’m sure Stripe dictates this. 🙂

If you have any more questions about the Pro version please visit https://wpsimplepay.com/contact/ and we’ll get back to you hopefully a bit quicker next time.

    Thanks,
    Phil
