Styling the category list

    I’m going mad…:-)

    Since hours I try to style my category list – trying to edit the ul-ul-etc.-tags in Kubricks style.css, trying to edit sidebar.php of the default theme, but nothing happens. I guess it’s because I’m using the widgetized sidebar to display the categories? I’d like to

    1. style the main categories different from sub- and sub-sub-categories and
    2. put some space above the main categories to make them better recognised

    Can someone please tell me where and how I can do it? I have basic css-knowledge, so knowing the tags isn’t the problem – it’s finding the place to apply them.

    Yeah, I’m having the same problem.

    Think I’ll just remove the default category pages and use a custom page

    I would imagine that all you need do is create a style for each

      and ensure that these remove all previous styling and then have a & a:hover rules which set the style you want for these sub categories when linked and on roll over.

    ie. if the master style has a background colour you need to either set it to none in the substyle or assign a new colour.
