Sub-Blog 404 Error

Some sub-blogs work, others give 404 error.
http://newbirthoffreedom.org/district/ works
http://newbirthoffreedom.org/adventure/ works partially
it pulls the right page-adventure.php from the theme, but it throws a 404 for the middle content.

I think it is a permissions issue (earlier, I chmod’d the entire wp-content dir to 755…based on a plugin author’s suggestion on fixing the store…big mistake….trying to undo it, but I can’t seem to get the sub-blogs to work.
