The styles of the theme are probably not coded to show a third level submenu.
What theme are you using? Can you show us a link?
The link to the site is http://familyfoundationsafrica.com and the theme is Travel Guide. I was on the theme Inkzine before and the third level sub menu was working but even if I change back to Inkzine now it doesn’t work. What I suspect is that the theme Travel Guide did something to deactivate the third level sub menu.
Under the menu “Coordinators” is a submenu “South African Coordinators” and under that should be the sub menu “Bloemfontein”
This is the link to the third level: http://familyfoundationsafrica.com/coordinators/south-african-coordinators/bloemfontein/.
Please can you help???
I look in the source code and I don’t see the third level menu there.
If you switch to a default theme (twentythirteen or twentyfourteen, etc.), does it show then?.
Double check if that third level is actually still in your menu setup (Appearance –> Menus and if you’re actually using the proper menu (maybe you have more than one menu defined and it’s not showing the right one?).
It’s possible your theme doesn’t support third level submenus and just removes every third level from the menu structure. Then when you switch to another theme, you’d have to add it again.
Hi Senff, You were absolutely right. I swopped back to a default theme and the third level menus was working again.
So it was for sure the theme giving me the problem.
Is there any plugin or some code I can add to get the third level menus working on the other themes?
Thanks for your help.
