    Afternoon

I thought I had solved this issue with your help previously but clearly I haven’t!

I have the menus looking the way I want them on just about every page apart from posts. I disabled transparent header on post pages which has allow me to apply a navy background to my main menu. However, the sub menu then appears transparent.

If I allow transparent header on my posts, the main menu is then transparent and the sub menu appears in navy blue.

I want the sub menu to appear in navy blue as it does across the rest of the website.

Any help would be more gratefully received. Many thanks!

    Hello @lecapitan1

Thank you for reaching out to us.

To change the submenu color, please follow this reference screencast.

But if you want to set the submenu background color only, then you might need to apply custom CSS code.

    Hi Humayon

Thanks for coming back to me.

I want the sub menu to be navy at all times. Unfortunately when I turn off transparent headers on posts, it makes the sub menus on posts transparent.

I have done a workaround of keeping transparent headers on on every aspect of the site and then changing the background colour of the site. It isn’t ideal, however.

    Thanks

    Hello @lecapitan1

Thank you for sharing the file with us.

To resolve the issue, please follow this reference screencast, or you might need to apply custom CSS code to apply the submenu background color.

Also, the submenu color option doesn’t come separately with the Astra free theme, as it’s a premium feature, and you don’t need to use CSS for that.

    Hi Humayon

Thanks for coming back to me and for the screencast.

Changing the menu colour like that is not what I’m hoping to do so I might look at CSS as you suggest.

    Many thanks

    Hello @lecapitan1

    Thank you for your reply.

Yes, in this case, custom CSS will be the best solution then.
