    Hi there ๐Ÿ™‚

Iโ€™m developing a multilingual site, and I have installed your awesome plugin.

All my sub menus stays closed until you click them, but the Polylang flags sub menus always appears clicked (opened).

How can I solve this and make the Polylang sub menu appears closed like the others sub menus does?

    Thanks in advance.

    Kind regards.

Hi Kriti, thanks for support ๐Ÿ™‚

I’m in a local production environment (Localhost with W10 and IIS), for this reason I can’t provide a link where you can check this issue.

Anyway you should reproduce it easily, just with Responsive Menu, Elementor, Elementor Header & Footer Builder and Polylang in the same WordPress installation. I’m using Astra theme, BTW.

I’ll be waiting for your news. Thanks a lot.

    kind regards.

    Hi @albridi,

I used Responsive menu and Polylang plugin on my staging website and all the Polylang menus are showing up as closed.

I request you to please check for plugin and theme conflict on your website. The fastest way to rule out conflicts is to deactivate all plugins and switch to a standard theme like Twenty Twenty. If this resolves the issue, you have indeed a conflict. You can then switch back to the theme you are using to check if you can reproduce the issue. If the issue isnโ€™t reproduced when your theme is active, you can enable one plugin at a time to check when the issue reappears. Doing this will narrow down the conflict to a specific plugin or a theme conflict.

Let me know if this fixes the issue or not.

    Kriti

Hi again Kriti and thanks for supporting ๐Ÿ™‚

I think I’ve solved it. What I’ve done is to go to WordPress admin -> Appearance -> Menus, and at the Menus config, in Languages options I’ve checked “Hide current language”.

This way the language sub menu stays closed until I click on it.

    Kind regards.

    Hi @albridi,

I am glad to hear that the issue is resolved now.

    Regards,
    Kriti
