    Desired URL hierarchy:

    Blog = /music
    Category = /music/CAT
    Subcategory = /music/CAT/SUBCAT
    Post w/ Category as primary = /music/CAT/POST
    Post w/ Subcategory as primary = /music/CAT/SUBCAT/POST

    Settings:

    Blog page is set to be /music
    Permalink structure = /music/%category%/%postname%/
    Category base = empty
    Yoast SEO “Remove the categories prefix” = Remove

    The Subcategory pages are 404ing, and are actually at /CAT/SUBAT — but that is not what is linked or what I desire. I have tried a few different combos of settings, but not successful yet. How can I resolve this issue and get the above desired URL hierarchy?

    Thank you very much in advance.
