subdomain site cannot be found

    Hey guys, a quick question here. I’ve just followed this guide on setting up a network (http://codex.ww.wp.xz.cn/Create_A_Network). So now i have one primary site and one sub(domain) site in the “My Sites” tab in “Dashboard”, the primary site is working perfectly. However, the sub(domain) site is not. When i visit it or go to its dashboard, browser says that it cannot be found. Any insights are appreciated!

    Did you set up the subdomain on your server as well as on WP?

    You have to add the subdomains to the server and DNS so it knows what to do.

    What i did was adding a “*.example.com” as a subdomain.

    The one i created first didn’t work, however, earlier today i tried to create a new sub site which appear to be working. Maybe it may take some time for it to take effect? Anyway now i have deleted the first one, which is still not working, and created a new sub site and is working good!
