Inspecting your code says, that there is a margin of 12px under each element. I have no answer, but you might check your theme, if it is interfering somehow.

Yes, there seems to be some style applying from the theme. You can try adding this CSS code at Additional CSS section in Customizer:
.elementor-76 .elementor-element.elementor-element-2c6af139 .elementor-nav-menu .menu-item {
margin: 0px;
}
It will overwrite the style for menu item.
