Submenu role ?
-
Hi,
First, thank you for this wonderful and handy plugin.
I was wondering, how can i use nav menu roles for submenus ?
When i click on first level entries i got the checkboxes, but nothing appears for sub, sub-sub… etc. levels
Not done yet ? Will come soon ? Template issue ? I missed something ? (happens sometimes ;p)
Thanks in advance for your answer.

Did you see a notice/warning of a potential conflict? Assuming your theme (or another plugin) isn’t conflicting then the NMR options appear on menu items regardless of their depth.
Please try switching to a default theme and disabling other plugins to find the culprit. Then contact them with Workaround #1 listed in the FAQ.
Hi helgatheviking,
Thank you for an answer. No conflict with the template, but one big with a plugin. I’ve got every menu with roles displaying.
Thank you for your help.
Regards,
ThomasWhich plugin is it? And do point the authors towards my workaround in the FAQ.
Its Ubermenu, from megamenu.com a premium plugin from codecanyon.
I’m trying to find a way to fix this cause i need both this plugin and yours. You don’t need to find the workaround yourself, it is shown in the FAQ. See Workaround #1.
I have sent this to the UberMenu devs, but there is no guarantee that they will update their code accordingly. If you’d like to try to attack the changes yourself (they aren’t particularly hard if you know what you are looking at) I put forth an explanation in the following thread:

Good luck. This is a limitation of WordPress and short of all menu plugin/themes adopting this workaround there is nothing else to be done.
The UberMenu response:
The current version of UberMenu does not use a custom admin Walker at all, so there shouldn’t be any conflicts from that perspective. UberMenu 3 has been out for about 8 weeks now.
It sounds like you need to upgrade your UberMenu plugin.
