I am afraid, at the moment, Forminator doesn’t show an alert (notification count for submissions) on the WP Admin backend. Primarily, email notifications are the only means to get an alert after the submission occurs.
However, we already have a similar feature request logged in the pipeline. I will add this topic as a +1 vote for the feature so that it helps with some priority. That said, I cannot guarantee as of now if the feature will be implemented or share any exact ETA, as it is at a very early stage.
Additionally, you can also configure “Scheduled Exports” for the submitted data so that you get a daily export for new submissions: https://wpmudev.com/docs/wpmu-dev-plugins/forminator/#exporting-submissions

As we have already forwarded this thread as a feature request to our developers, we can’t give any estimated time or guarantee it is going to be implemented but I hope we can consider it in a future version.
