Let’s split for a moment words submissions and emails.
If you have issues with submissions in the WP Dashboard, check your submissions settings: https://wpmudev.com/docs/wpmu-dev-plugins/forminator/#submissions-settings
However, if you have an issue with not receiving emails to your email box, please do note that in general, the Forminator plugin only initiates the action of sending the email, It is your WordPress site that will be sending the email.
Having that in mind, WordPress uses the “wp_mail()” function which in most cases simply uses the standard PHP “mail()” function. However, depending on hosting settings sometimes you will need additional plugins like SMTP:

After you set up this plugin correctly let us know does that helped to solve your issue.

Thanks for that information, my settings are exactly the same as my other websites, and am only having trouble with this one, I am not receiving the emails.
I have tested with other contact form plugins and emails are coming through, but still nothing from forminator.

We would like to take a closer look at your form then.
Could you export your form using the guide on this link: https://wpmudev.com/docs/wpmu-dev-plugins/forminator/#import-export? Once exported, kindly use a Cloud service like Google Drive, pastebin.com, or similar to share it. If you have sensitive data, please duplicate the form, remove it, and export the form.
