    Today i recognized that the submit button to create a new guestbook entry doesnt work do anything if i click on it. 🙁

    I already deleted the plugin and installed it anew, id didnt help..

    Importing old guestbook entries isnt possible too, i also cant add the old entries by hand.

    Hi,
    I see in the Console of the Inspector that there are 3 plugins with errors:
    – cookie-control
    – easy-sidebar-menu-widget
    – wp-floating-menu

    When you disable those 3, does it then work again?
    One of these plugins, or all 3, have JavaScript problems.

    About importing… Are you trying to import from CSV, or through another way? And what error do you get?
    Did you follow the advice in the documentation? CSV can be tricky.

    Youll laugh, i really did nothing and the submit button works again. I didnt even had to deactivate the plugins you told me.

    At CSV Import it says:
    “Die Daten scheinen korrupt zu sein. Speichern und Import fehlgeschlagen.
    Es tut mir leid, aber ich war nicht in der Lage, Einträge aus der CSV-Datei zu importieren.”

    At adding new entries via the backend it says:
    “Fehler beim Speichern aufgetreten.”

    Trying to add a new entrie via the fronted it says:
    “Entschuldigung, es ging etwas schief bei der Speicherung dieses Eintrags. Bitte kontaktiere den Administrator.”

    I deactivated all the plugins you told me, but i cant add new entries anyways.

    Hmm, that is strange.
    Since you don’t have any entries yet, could you go to Dashboard > Guestbook > Settings > uninstall-tab, and hit uninstall. Then go to Dashboard > Plugins, and activate again.
    I think something went wrong while installing/activating the plugin.

    About the CSV, could you mail it to [email protected] ? Then I can take a look at it. It will be after the weekend.

    But we decided, to run our website without a guestbook for the next time.
