Submit Button Hover color

I need help with the color of the button on wppb-user-forms.
I was able to target the button style using CSS code from this post: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/change-log-out-link-to-button/
but I cannot get the hover color to change from this post:
https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/button-style-13/When I input the CSS from the 2nd link above, only the background color of the form changes and not the button even when hovering.
