submit button not working

Hi,

i´m on a fresh install of wordpress trying to get your plugin working for a email singnup, but nothing happens when i click the submit button. i tried different templates, all the same with the email submit. doesn’t matter if i use internal database or mailchimp.
there is only akismet running. no other plugins.

do i need to install something else?
