submit button not working

    Hello,

    I am using Steeler WordPress template: Steeler – Industrial & Manufacturing WordPress Theme by 7iquid | ThemeForest

    Contact form 7 works well for one day only, the submit button stop working the next day directly. I did contact my host support and find that no problem from their side. Also, I contacted Steeler template developer support and they say that we must contact you for help.

    The contact form is added to the home page(https://www.northstar-sz.com) for now which I am interested to solve its issue. Be notified that I am still building my website, so please check only the home page.

    Try switching to the default theme, deactivating all plugins excluding Contact Form 7, Classic Editor, Elementor and WooCommerce, and clearing all cache data.

    Why you are advised to deactivate plugins and switch to the default theme.

    I have the same issue as you; the 401 access when submitted

       POST https://www.northstar-sz.com/wp-json/contact-form-7/v1/contact-forms/1932/feedback 401 (Unauthorized)

    Dear @takayukister,

    Good news! After deep search, I find that REST API is deactivated by me for security reasons. So when i activated the REST API the Contact form 7 works correctly.

    Bad News! Is that I need to deactivate the REST API but without affecting the contact form 7. What is the solution

    You don’t need to deactivate REST API.

    I use XML-RPC Plugin to disable or enable REST API JSON, so when REST API is enabled and activated then the Contact Form 7 works normally.

    And, when REST API JSON is disabled and deactivated then Contact Form 7 is not working for website visitors.

    What I need is to make Contact Form 7 works normally when REST API JSON is disabled and deactivated.

    Note: The REST API JSON is now enabled and activated so Contact Form 7 works well on the home page http://www.northstar-sz.com
