I have been trying to get a form to submit with the “Submit Via Ajax” button checked. It says that it will allow form submission to occur without refreshing the page; which is what I am looking to have happen. However, the page does not submit. Ultimately I am trying to submit the form and have the form replaced with the “Custom form submission success text” that I provide.

I have also tried removing unchecking this box to see if the form will submit properly. It does to the degree that the page refreshes but, the information does not actually pass through to my mailing list. I have tried this as well with the “CRON” button both checked and unchecked and, I do have the opt-in check box and can visibly see it where it is supposed to be. In this case, I also do not get a screen showing any text indicating anything happened, just the page refresh.

I have read through the sticky at the beginning of the support section in regards to this. I am not sure if I am also supposed to have advanced opt-in options checked but, even with those things checked, nothing goes through.

One step at a time though, I would like to know how to handle submitting the form as above without the page refreshing. As aforementioned, this is not occurring. The page just sits and doesn’t appear to be doing anything. Nor does the name get added in.

Wanted to add a feature request as well. What I am working towards is adding a person to one of two lists based on age. I have currently accomplished this in WP by having two different lists hidden and, one list or the other shows up on a “join” button press based on a radio button that the user chooses. Not sure if this is something that more people would find useful or not but, it would be nice to be able to have some kind of similar feature built into the plug in that would allow you to have multiple lists available based on a choice/question within the form itself.

    Hi @enuber,

Is there any way you could get me access to the page in question? As is, it gives me an “under construction” message.

Regarding the ajax version, I’m curious if some sort of javascript error is popping up that’s preventing some part of the process.

I assume you have your account connected in the settings of the plugin, and have chosen a list for the submissions to be sent to. Curious if some sort of error is being returned by the API as well, on that front.

I am getting no errors related to the plugin. I currently have a couple of font errors that are unrelated.

Yes, I am connected to our constant contact account and, I created a list to test before putting our actual list up. It is connected via that list.

I can add you into the page but, would need an email or a way to contact you privately to give you login info.

Not quite sure how best we could aid in that feature request, while keeping it generic enough to make it make sense for as many users as possible. Haven’t seen that type of request before, so it is a first here.

If you could contact [email protected] and put “WordPress support for Michael” in the subject, we can get things taken privately to continue from there.

    Thanks.

Marking resolved as we have found the source of the issue. Similar to other recent support threads, the issue stemmed from allow_url_fopen not being enabled and causing failures with Google reCAPTCHA submissions.

Hoping to have a workaround for that topic released soon.
