I am interested in optimizing SEO for Baidu but my base website is written in English. I have set up weglot to have the Chinese version of my site properly set up with the /zh/ appended to every page.

I noticed that the sitemap sitemap_index.xml created by Yoast is only for the main language. Is there a way that a sitemap can be created with the /zh/ appended so that it can be submitted to Baidu?

Or is there a better way that Baidu crawls my /zh/ site?

Hi,

We are not sure if Weglot will output the posts in Chinese onto the sitemap. Can you provide a link to the site so we may take a closer look?
