Hey there @hellesuhr
I did a quick test in the slide in and received the email with the confirmation.
Maybe it was a temporary issue on Mailchimp?
Looking forward to your reply.
Hi,
Yes, now it work again.
But I can’t make it work when I enable “Allow already subscribed users to submit the form”. Then I don’t receive an email with the confirmation if I’m already subscribed. I have enabled it on this site: https://suhrgrafik.dk/billig-hjemmeside/
Best regards,
Helle
Hello there @hellesuhr,
hope you’re doing well! 🙂
I’m not sure that the confirmation emails should be sent again, as this also didn’t happen when I tested that in a site of mine, as well as in your own.
I made a query for our developers about it, will keep you posted here as soon as there’s any feedback on this.
Thank you,
Dimitris
Hi,
Well that’s a problem if the subscriber doesn’t get a confirmation email, because after subscribe there’s an message at the website to the subscriber to check their inbox. And as I can see there is no possibility to show different messages.
Best regards,
Helle
Hello @hellesuhr
Hope you are doing well!
I apologize for the late reply in this thread. Confirmation emails are sent from the MailChimp’s end. Based on Mailchimp policy a confirmation email can be sent only once. If a user has subscribed in the past, has received a confirmation email already, this user remains with Pending status. MailChimp will not send a confirmation email if a user will re-subscribe again.
A feature for re-sending confirmation emails was already asked from our developers to be developed. In the meantime, please remove users with pending status from the MailChimp list with this tool (please use it responsibly):
https://mailchimp.coryzue.com/
Hope this helps!
Cheers,
Nastia
