• Thank you very much for this wonderful calendar plugin, it looks amazing πŸ™‚

After setting up the calendar at: https://woffm.de/events/, I am now trying to get the “Subscribe” function to work. Importing single events to my local calendar is working perfectly, but subscribing to the complete calendar is sadly not working at all.

I am trying to get it working on my mobile phone (iPhone).

When I am clicking “Subscribe” -> “Google”, I am getting redirected to the Google Calendar (where I am logged in), but a notification shows me that the URL is invalid.

When I am clicking “Subscribe” -> “iCal” (which would be my preferred method), nothing is happening at all.

This sounds like an issue with understanding the webcals URL scheme. This has been a pain point, since some browsers rejects webcal because it isn’t secure, and others don’t seem to support webcals, the secure version. I’ll have to look into this, but if you can tell me on what devices/browsers you’re having problems, I’d appreciate it.

Looking into it a bit, it seems like Google doesn’t support webcals; which is weird, because they definitely did when I implemented this, but *now* they specifically say they don’t support it. Makes me think maybe it was accidental support, and now they’ve removed it.

The subscribe function now also stopped working for me on my iPhone.

When I click on subscribe to the apple calendar, the calendar opens up and shows the URL (as intented). When click on “subscribe” in the app, a popup gets shown and tells me “unsafe connection”, which i can ignore by clicking “continue”. Anyhow, afterwards an error gets shown “Verification failed”.
