Subscribe Users to Comments Manually?

    Hey everyone, I’m looking for a solution/plugin that will allow me to manually subscribe registered users to the comments on a given post.

    Any ideas? I tried the subscribe-to-comments plugin, but don’t see a way for me (the admin) to add users. It looks like that plugin requires the user to subscribe themselves.

    and that’s all you will ever find
    I would be outraged if someone manually subscribed me
    that is my option to subscribe or not

    This isn’t going to be put in place on a normal-functioning blog. I setup a Client Portal where my clients can login, submit problems or suggest improvements with the software my company provides. I use the comments as a means of allowing them to communicate directly with our development team. They will ALWAYS want to be notified via email if a reply comment is submitted on their specific problem or improvement submission.
