Subscribe2 – spam subscriptions

    I’m using WordPress 3.5.1 and Subscribe2 8.9.1. In the last two days one of my sites, http://www.stlwildones, has received nearly 100 spam subscriptions. After reading other forum topics, I installed the Bad Behavior plug-in (2.2.14), with no apparent effect. The subscriptions come from a variety of domain names, so it’s not feasible to blacklist them.

    All the subscriptions are Public Subscribers, so I’m not sure what they hope to gain, but it makes me nervous. Is there any risk to this, and does anyone have other suggestions on how to block them?
