On 4/1/2017, I activated the MailChimp for Woocommerce plugin, as per suggestions on Mailchimp for integrations. I did not realize until after initial synch that it would since my customer’s data. Since then, this is what I found and I have been working with MailChimp support.

It dropped, of all things, my test email I use for all campaigns. I had to resubscribe. This leads me to believe it dropped others and I do not know why, even though it added over 2000 customers to my Mailchimp list.

I have a group on subscribers that shows the subscribe date of December 31, 1969. That happened only after I ran this plugin. So, is there a way to change the dates back? I am assuming not, but Mailchimp support referred me to you all, as they believe it is an API issue. ???

If it helps, I am using a child theme of Divi.

Name: Divi Child By Simply Crafty SVGS
    Version: 2

    Child Theme: ✔
    Parent Theme Name: Divi
    Parent Theme Version: 3.0.40

For reference, I do have other active plugins on the website. Here they are:

  • Hey Sandy,

Thanks for your post. I apologize for the delay in our reply. The behavior you’ve described here in regards to unsubscribed contacts as well as that 1969 value definitely sound like unexpected behavior.

In reviewing this information and touching base with the MailChimp Support team, it looks like that due to the nature of this issue and the need to investigate those specific examples, the team over at MailChimp is going to need to take a closer look from their end. A member of their support team is going to reach out and follow up with you with in an email with the ticket ID #2061998.

With that said, I appreciate you reaching out to us here and apologize for having to go back and forth between support , though due to the need to investigate specific examples in the account, the MailChimp team will be the best point of contact moving forward from here. They’ll be in touch shortly.

    Thanks,
    Malachite
