My wp simple shopping cart does not appear to work. I also have a Paypal button as well and that does appear to work okay. When I had the application was public on my site I did notice a lot of new subscribers. I was wondering if there was a connection.
Hi do you have the plugin activated? Having people subscribe does not necessary have anything to do with the shopping cart. It depends on how you have set up your website.
When you say they don’t work what error messages do you see if any? Can you enable debug mode and check the log file?
That other plugin might be destroying your PHP session which will make the cart plugin to not work. So make sure to use a good plugin that is coded properly so it doesn’t break your site’s PHP session functionality.
Did you do a test by disabling the other plugin?

I noticed that that there is nothing in the shopping cat button to link it to the Paypal button. What code do I need to generate from Paypal to link the two buttons?
You don’t need to generate anything from PayPal.
You use an add to cart shortcode then add a shopping cart shortcode (this shopping cart shortcode is what will allow the users to checkout).
