Hey,
Firstly, thanks for the screen which you have shared with us
We have checked your query like same customer purchased two subscription which first one is in pending Cancellation status which is canceled from customer’s end and the second one is in active status.
So in this case you don’t need to worry or do anything, like for the first subscription customer doesn’t need to pay for renewal because it is cancel and customer need to pay for only second renewal whenever its next payment date is come
And as you metion “how prevent it in the future, can you help me with that?”
So here can you explain what actually you want to prevent like if you want a customer with same email address can buy only one subscription something like this? So this functionality is not in our plugin but if you want still any extra functionality or feature then you can connect our support they will help you.
Thank you!
I apologize for the confusion earlier. Let me clarify the situation for you:
The issue is that instead of renewing the subscription, the subscriber started a new subscription, essentially resetting the trial period. Initially, she canceled the first subscription through PayPal, but after 5 days, she submitted a new request for the same subscription.
As a result, she now has two active subscriptions for the same service. The first subscription has been canceled, and the second subscription is currently active. The problem is that she has already used 5 out of the 7 days of her trial period, and instead of continuing with the remaining days, she started a new subscription. Consequently, the countdown for the trial period has restarted, and she now has 7 days left in her new trial period.
Hey,
We got your point and yes this can be possible from the default working of the plugin. But if you want this functionality changed then please connect our support they will help you
Thank you
