    We have a variable subscription that is set to renew on the 1st of each month. We’ve set up subscription switching so they can upgrade the sub to a higher level at any time. However, the switching feature doesn’t factor in the amount of money already charged. For example, upgrading from a 1000/mo subscription to a 2000/mo subscription:

    1000 = 32.258/day
    322.58 spent in 10 days
    677.42 left for the month

    upgrading to:

    2000 = 64.516/day
    1354.84 for 21 remaining days – this is what it is charging
    but it needs to subtract the 677.42 already paid from the previous subscription

    677.42 is what it should be charging for the upgrade and not 1354.84

    Can anyone help with this?

    Hi there 👋

    Firstly, could you please let us know how you are currently managing subscriptions on your site? By any chance, are you using a plugin for this?

    Cheers!

    Thank you!

    For WooCommerce Subscription plugin, please contact us at WooCommerce.com > My Account > Support. You may need to create an account before you can access that page.

    Please include a link to this forum thread, so that we can keep track of what’s already been done.

    We will be able to help you further there. 🙂

    Cheers.

    I tried that, and it just gave me an error and said to post my question here. Unfortunately, our previous developer who has the account that purchased the plugin is no longer with us and we don’t have access to his account. I’m guessing that’s why it wouldn’t let me submit a support ticket.

    Oh, I see! Please kindly note that per the ww.wp.xz.cn forum guidelines, we cannot provide support here for premium/paid plugins. You can learn more about this here:

    https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/guidelines/#do-not-post-about-commercial-products

    In this case, you will need to gain access to the account that was used to purchase the plugin.

    I hope this makes sense.

    Ok. Is there any way to get support/have someone look into this issue without having to re-purchase a subscription to a product I already own?

    Hi there!

    As @gabrielfuentes noted, support for WooCommerce Subscriptions is provided at https://woocommerce.com/my-account/create-a-ticket/?form=ticket.

    Please login to WooCommerce.com with the account you’ve used to purchase
    WooCommerce Subscriptions, select WooCommerce Subscriptions from the dropdown so that the query ends up in the right queue.

    If you’re still having trouble finding Subscription in the drop-down, please send an email directly to [email protected] from the email address of the account you used to purchase the subscription.

    I’ll go ahead and mark this thread as resolved. If you have any other questions about core WooCommerce features, please start a new thread.
