You have added support for product variants in version 1.8.0. Does this mean that upgrades/downgrades for subscriptions are now supported by StellarPay Subscriptions, or is WooCommerce Subscriptions still required?

I’m researching moving away from WooCommerce Subscriptions to StellarPay Subscriptions as you use Stripe Subscriptions behind the scenes. From what I understand, we’d have to keep WooCommerce Subscriptions active for our existing ones and can only use StellarPay for new subscriptions going forward. I think that’s fine, but upgrades/downgrades are essential to us.

Hey @arnaudbroes glad you reached out here!

This feature (adding support for product variants) sets the stage so that we *can* add support for upgrading and downgrading subscriptions, but that particular feature is not live yet. It’s on a relatively short list of features we are looking to add soon, but for now it’s still not possible.

I’ve added your name to the list of folks to alert when and if that feature is implemented. I don’t have a firm timeline on it at all at this point.

Thanks again for reaching out! I’m going to mark this as “resolved” here on the forums, but if you have additional needs don’t hesitate to reach out again!
